Tokyo Court Says Shidax Tender Undervalued Firm in Rare Case Shidax, a leading Japanese construction firm, has been at the center of a high stakes dispute in Tokyo courts.
The company was accused by its former CEO and several other executives of undervaluing the tender for a significant contract valued at around ¥15 billion (approximately $135 million).
On Monday, the Tokyo District Court delivered a surprise ruling, stating that Shidax had indeed engaged in underhanded dealings to win the contract.
